Who we are

Palmapping is an audiovisual production company in Palma specialising in video mapping on any surface: façades, stages, scrims, walls, DJ booths or entire 360º spaces. We also hire out a 3D DJ booth and sound equipment for events.

It is run by Ángel Romero Carballal, your direct contact on every project.

Over ten years projecting in Mallorca

Our first published projects date from 2014. Since then we have projected for hotels, venues, town halls and fiestas across the island:

2014: A gala at Hotel OD Port Portals with mapping on cardboard geometries.
2015: A 6 × 8 m aquarium at OD Port Portals, DJ mapping at Hotel BH Mallorca, Play Experience at BCM Planet Dance and the 3D DJ booth at Hotel Sol House.
2016: Los 40 Principales stage at Sant Sebastià, Tito’s 15th anniversary, the façade of Palma’s Military Museum, Ses Coves de Gènova and the Vilafranca fiestas.
2017: A piece with its own story screened three times a week at the Son Amar events hall.
2018: Mapping on an exhibition of paintings by Carlos Prieto, with a single projector.
2019: Nit de l’Art in Son Servera, a piece on climate change in Plaza de Cort for Palma City Council and the Gatsby New Year’s Eve at Can Bordoy.
2024: A 360º mapping on the history of Mallorca and Jaume II at La Misericordia for the Consell de Mallorca’s Diada, and the Christmas lights switch-on on Alcúdia’s city walls, both with Trui. In Menorca, the closing mapping of the Sant Bartomeu festival in Ferreries.
2025: The folk tale “En Joanet de sa gerra” at La Misericòrdia for the Diada de Mallorca and the Christmas switch-on mapping on the Santa Margalida town hall façade.
2026: 3D effects in the Natura room at Hotel Maricel.

How we work

Every project follows the same method: research into the space, the audience and the goal; concept and ideas tested on the real surface; design of the strategy, script and animation; and production, which means building, installing and running it on the day.

We handle everything: production and direction, custom script, 3D animation, mapping, set-up and dismantling, technician, musical direction and sound.
