A 6 × 8 metre aquarium projected onto the hotel lobby wall. The perfect setting for a gala dinner.
I want something like thisThe brief
For a gala dinner, Hotel OD Port Portals wanted to transform its lobby. We projected a 6 × 8 metre aquarium onto the wall: guests dined with the sea moving all around them.
Indoor mapping
Indoors the light can be controlled, which allows a very sharp image with intense colours on a large surface. One well-chosen wall is enough to completely change the atmosphere of a space.
More work for OD
It was not our only job for OD Port Portals: we also did a mapping on cardboard geometries for a gala (2014), the hotel’s second anniversary, a DJ booth with live visuals by a VJ, Halloween 2015 and the OD Sky Bar Red Party.
