In 2024 the Ferreries town council, in Menorca, premiered a video mapping to close the Sant Bartomeu festival instead of the final firecracker display. It was projected on Sunday 25 August, the day of Sant Bartomeuet, at 22:15.
The festival’s story
The mapping was a journey through the history and traditions of the Sant Bartomeu festival, projected on the façade of the Sant Francesc d’Assís nursery school in Plaça d’Espanya. The horses, stars of Menorca’s fiestas, galloped across the façade.
