Video mapping on the concert stage of Palma’s Sant Sebastià festival. Four structures with scrims as the surface, with projections during Calum’s set and the Los 40 Principales DJs.
I want something like thisThe brief
Los 40 Principales asked us for the video mapping of the stage at their concerts during Palma’s Sant Sebastià festival in January 2016. The projections accompanied the band Calum and the Los 40 DJs’ sets.
Four structures with scrims
The surface was four structures with scrims built into the stage. Scrims work very well for a concert: they are light, quick to rig on the structure and allow projection at a large scale, so the whole stage becomes a screen and the content changes with every song.
